Dorothy earned her certification in personal training through the American Council on Exercise in 1997. During the last 26 years, she has also acquired various other specialized certifications including health coaching, golf conditioning specialist, and nutrition to name a few. A self-proclaimed “gym rat” from an early age, she begged her mom to take her to the gym before she was old enough to drive or have her own membership. Don’t let that scare you, though, she has worked with all ages and abilities. Whether you’re just starting out and learning good form and practices, a seasoned fitness enthusiast looking to be challenged, or an older person wanting to maintain mobility, her energetic and bright personality will keep you inspired to be the best you. When not in the gym, she lives a vegan lifestyle, enjoys gardening, cooking, spending time with her family and pets, and yup, exercising!
